PET Scan

Mom had her PET scan today at 8:15AM.  It went very smoothly.  Thank you for all your prayers!  They should get the results on October 19th, 2010...when they have their evaluation with the Department of Radiation Oncology at 11AM.

Mom is resting and eating some soup today.  Dad is a good motivator.  He just keeps warming her soup up until she eats it all.  :)  I am keeping Dad busy with my "honey-do" list.  Boy, do I LOVE having Grandpa here!!!  My list will be gone soon at this rate.  I'll just have to come up with some new projects.  :)

We are looking forward to some visits this weekend with friends and family.  If you want our address...to send Don and Linda some encouragement...just leave a message and we'll get it to you.

(Here is another example of what these two do all day!)

Just wanted to let you know that we are praying for you Linda. I work for the Cancer Center at Mayo and you are in good hands. Who is your oncologist? Cancer is something my family has battled with. I pray for God's peace as you go through this difficult journey.
Blessings,
Heidi Ganz

Thank you so much. It's all so scary. I'm touched that you chose to respond to my blog. I have Dr. R.C. Miller listed for Consultation on Tuesday.

Hello Mrs. McCutcheon this is Tracy, Deb and Jay's neighbor. I wanted to let you know you all are in our thoughts and prayers as you are going through this difficult journey. My mom is praying for you too. Is it OK with you to put you on the church prayer lines? I am so thankful that you can be close to some of your family while you are going through this. I know you are a wonderful, strong, positive, humorous lady with a lot of family support along with many prayers and positive thoughts constantly sent your way. These are all key ingredients to beating this crazy cancer stuff!! I pray for the docs to get all of this figured out so they can go in and attack this and get you feeling better ASAP. In the meantime I pray for the least amount of pain, your increased ability to take in adequate nutrition and your breathing to become much easier. Also some extra prayers for your hubby to keep up his strength so he can continue to be your rock. Take care McCutcheon Family. I'm sending positive thoughts and virtual hugs. Love, Tracy Morris
[Jen-please send your mailing address to me at tmorris@ashlandmmc.com Thank you]

Hello Linda and Don - I work in Mark's office at church, and am so pleased to meet you. You should be proud of your hard working, Jesus-loving son (and his wonderful wife). They have blessed my life in many ways (in spite of his sense of humor!! Ha Ha) I will be praying for you both on this journey God is taking you through. Karen Flynn

You're funny, Sarah! I told Mom that we could take more "making out pictures"...after Dad read your comment...she just rolled her eyes. :) I think that was a "no" answer.

Today was just a relaxing day. Although, last night...the elders from our church came and prayed over Mom. It was beautiful!

See you next week! Love you!
